The 59-year-old Indian American motel manager, Hemant Mistry, sadly passed away after a random guy fatally punched him in his face. His kids, Shivani Patel and Kunal Mistry, and wife, Gitanjali Mistry, mourn his loss.
Hemant Mistry was the General Manager at Hilltop Lodging and had over 25 years of experience in the Hospitality industry.

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, near Interstate 40 and Meridian Avenue in Oklahoma City, Hemant Mistry tragically lost his life.
Mistry first saw the 41-year-old Richard Lewis inside his motel parking lot and asked him to leave. But little did he know it would create a heated debate, resulting in him losing his life.
Out of nowhere, Hemat got punched in his face by Richard, knocking him unconscious.
As per the Oklahoma Police Department, he passed away while being rushed to the local hospital.
Hemant Mistry’s Wife, Gitanjali Now Lives On Her Own
Originally from Gujrat, India, Hemant Mistry lived with his wife, Gitanjali Mistry, and his entire family in the US.
The couple married on January 30, 1992, and had two grown-up kids, Shivani Patel and Kunal Mistry.
Like his father, Kunal followed in his footsteps and is doing well in the Hospitality industry.
born in Kennewick, Washington, he has been the CFO at Kushi Hospitality Group since 2021 and currently lives in Allen, Texas.
Moreover, unlike her brother, Shivani is a Care Coordinator at Newport Healthcare.
She was born and raised in Kennewick, Washington, and later moved to Bonney Lake.
Additionally, she worked as a Behavioral Therapist at Centria Healthcare and a Case Supervisor at IABAS for Families.
She studies Psychology at California State University and Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. Besides that, she married her boyfriend, Yash Patel, in February 2023.
Shivani, being the loving daughter of her late father, is facing huge grief and sorrow.
