Former Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krischer has gone missing after the release of transcripts on Jeffrey Epstein’s case.

On 1st July 2024, Barry didn’t respond to a voicemail and email asking for his comments about the transcript.

Barry Krischer Retired From State Attorney’s Office After 16 Years of Contribution

Barry Krischer was born sometime in 1943 in Brooklyn, New York, which means he turns 81 years old this 2024.

Krischer attended Brooklyn College, City University of New York, for his higher studies and earned a Law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

Barry started his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, New York, in 1970 and worked there for 3 years.

In 1973, he was offered the position of Chief Assistant in the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office; thus, he left his hometown and relocated to Florida with his wife, Eva, and son.

He worked there under then-state Attorney David Bludworth for a decade and left in 1983.

Afterward, he indulged his years of experience as a legal practitioner in private practice and ran for the elections of State Attorney in 1992.

Barry successfully got the position and was re-elected in 1996.

The Attorney set an example for other lawyers by being continuously elected for four subsequent tenures, in 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004, without any breaks.

He retired from the position in 2009, at the end of his fourth tenure when he was 66.

Thus, Barry served 16 long years as a State Attorney in Palm Beach County.

Barry Krischer Actively Volunteered After His Retirement

According to 2010 reports, Barry volunteered twice a week at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Legal Department after retirement from the public office.

In 2010, he was also elected as the Board member of the Children’s Home Society.

Furthermore, he stayed active in child welfare matters by contributing to the Palm Beach County Alliance and the Department of Children and Families.

Even after his retirement, he reportedly edited a newsletter related to the criminal justice community for the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office.

However, his recent whereabouts are unknown as of 2024.
