Armin Papperger Has Amassed A Net Worth Of $7 Million As the Chief Executive Officer of Rheinmetall AG

The United States and Germany recently foiled a Russian plot to assassinate the European Weapons chief Armin Papperger.

U.S. intelligence found the plot to assassinate Armin earlier this year and subsequently warned Germany, whose security services were then able to foil the plot.

The Russian military has carried out a series of arsons aimed at disrupting the supply of weapons to Ukraine, prompting the expulsion of undercover spies and a warning from NATO.

According to one of the senior intelligence officials, the threats marked this past spring.

Further, Armin was the only defense figure who was targeted by name or for whom the Russians appeared to have developed an assassination plan.

Later, Armin became head of the quality management department in 1998.

In 2001, he became a Defense Division Board member, responsible for vehicle systems and the weapons division.

At the beginning of 2012, he became chairman of the Defense Division board and a Rheinmetall AG Group Executive board member.
